There's this woman I really like....
Her name is Brandy. She transfered to our store last year, and then shortly after had to quit because of her other job...the one she had transferred here to Batesville for in the first place. But, even though we only had a short time to get to know each other, we still kept in touch, still talked.
I don't know what it was...it's really rare that I connect with anyone that quickly. Before she left, I asked her out...but she had, still has, a Boyfriend, and kindly rejected me. Still though....
She still comes to see me, still talks to me...we've remained friends, even though I want more. Which brings me to my minor dilema....
I'd like to get her a Valentine's Day gift, but I don't want to scare her away from me. Should I or Should'nt I??? That's the big question. Please, let me know what you think.
I was thinking of something nice, but not really romantic. Say, a dozen yellow roses (yellow is for friendship, right?), with just a nice note that says "Thinking of you, Happy Valentine's Day". I just don't want to seem pushy, y'know. What do y'all think?? I welcome your opinions.
