anyway....
My vacation week has been good so far...Only 3 days into it and I'm already a little burnt out. Sunday has kinda been a chill day. I didn't leave the house or answer the phone for anyone. Sometimes I just can't. Im tired. I was on the "FUN!" Rampage for a bit, now I need a recovery day...
Friday night was fun..I went to a work-party-dinner at Joe's bar and grill...Had alot of food and red wine...Then I rushed home and crimped my hair for XMortis...Abarat and I met up with ShinraCorp, Sid, and aegiswings and everyone seemed to be having a really great time....After that a few of us went to Stevie's place for the party, and I gave a kitten sweet sweet love on the front porch all night. The kitten was stray and he was hanging out with all the porch people. Sooo cute.
Saturday night was a little strange...woke up at 4:00 in the afternoon, showered and threw on the flip flops and went to dinner w/Phil..we got mexican food at a place in Melrose. Yum. I started feeling weird and dehydrated, so I made Phil drive my Volkswagon around while I curled up on my passenger side...I figured out how to make the seat go back...so many people who have been in my car had that problem and I couldn't tell them how to fix it. Then Rob called Phil...Rob is the singer in Phil's band and he's one of our close friends, so we actually answered...He was tripping on mushrooms! I couldn't believe it. This kid hardly even drinks! So he was flipping out, begging us to come get him outta the house and outta the area...So we picked him up and went into Salem Square...We all met up w/ friends at Beerworks...I had alot of beer, Melissa had alot of beer, Everyone had alot of beer and before we knew it, Rob had wandered away.....We were all freaking out but we found him eventually..... Phil and I dropped him off later..
Phil made me Gin and Tonics all night long while we watched this awesome movie "Tristan and Isolde"
I was drunk and sobbing by the end....such a good movie. It was advertised like "Before Romeo and Juliette there was Tristan and Isolde..." I think it was one of those stories that William Shakespeare ripped off for R and J. Such a good flick. Anyway, we did breakfast and sex this morning...we leave for New York on Thursday...should arrive there by 10:00 am.Yep, we have to get up at the butt crack of dawn to catch that chineese bus. Fung Wa or whatever the hell it's called...We are seeing this wierd Monty Python musical "Spamalot". After that, I hope to do the shopping thing, but the boy hates it when I drag him around to look at the shinies...Ceremony tomorrow, New York Thursday and Friday...But what shall I do with all this other time? Beach, I'm thinking...I have to return American Gods to the library...maybe I'll pick up another book and go lounge around at the beach like the lazy bum that I am... If anyone wants to hang out, call my cell! I have a full tank of gas and 3 mixed cds. Fully prepared. I'm going to try not to drink tonight or tomorrow night, I don't feel too great.
But I AM having fun so far....
