Valentines Day, no I am not a fan. Let me start by saying I do believe that Love and Romance should be celebrated, to be kept alive and well. What a shame that we should have to devote a day to remind us. Valentines Day is now a crutch for many who have forgotten love and romance in their lives, or a quick way for people too lazy to work at a relationship to place a romantic band-aid over their neglect, or sadly it is a slap in the face and brutal reminder for those who have nothing... that another year has passed with nothing for their heart and hope. Let love and romance live in any day and hopefully every day, let it be spontaneous, let it be in the smallest of things and the grandest of gestures. Please start with a love for yourself, knowing that you are unique and worthy of being loved as well. The future is unwritten. All things come to us in their own time.
