>mmmmm'kay< so my holiday was very much needed & i had a wonderful time. the only big downfall was the company of girlies i went with (excluding my pet) were not very adventurous. i bought jose cuervo especial & absolute b/c i was planning on having atleast of couple of days of hardcore partying or crunkness, but that never came to fruition.
i spent the majority of my time floating in the lake & shopping. i was super excited to find i had dropped from size 14 jeans to an amazing 9/10! i picked up a few pairs of hater blockers & cute tees. i did get silly a few nights & pretty much entertained everyone with stories of my past. the upside is all of us girlies got along & no one went monkey.
a few things i learned about arkansas:
1. there are very few good-looking white ppl there & even less who have all of their teeth. i see why marrying your first cousin is legal b/c that's pretty much the only chance you have of finding someone remotely attractive.
2. damn near every black/african american person there is absolutely gorgeous. i mean i went into a damned a&e and i swear to god lil' wayne's cousin & rhianna's sister was there folding jeans.
3. besides being damned ugly for the most part just about every person was rude as hell. now i am an open-minded & opinionated person, but i am extremely well-mannered & polite...especially when it comes to some stranger preparing my food, but you literally couldn't get a smile out of anyone. i even visited a starbucks to see how our fellow baristas dig their jobs & they didn't even acknowledge us until we started asking them questions.
4. even though i'm from la & arkansas is just a state over....it's more of a diverse place. which i think is sad. everywhere you went there were all kinds of people from all walks of life. it was refreshing to see the different varieties of folks, but they build 'em better here.
5. they are not as strict when it comes to tattoos & piercings in the job place. here, even though i'm employed by a coffee shop, i can not have unnatural hair color, piercings, and any tattoos have to be covered up. pretty much all the kyddos over there were outlandish looking (a few of the better looking ones for the most part).
yeah, i know. not very exciting, but i am back & ready to keep moving forward. i finally found me a running buddy & i start tonight. looking forward to really trimming down since i've toned up. i didn't get any pics of me in a bathing suit b/c as i said no one was really up for getting crazy or doing much of anything.
maybe when i'm feeling a little more secure i'll get one up, but i'm trying to stay on this high & i don't think seeing myself barely dressed is going to help that. alrighty, update finished.
...stay kew kyds..
