I originally wanted to watch Skinamarink but wasn't able to find it so after seeing positive reviews I switched to Lake Mungo instead, Lake mungo is a documentary style movie following the Palmer family trying to come to terms with the death of their 16 year old daughter Alice who disappeared swimming and was later found drowned, after her body was recovered and she was identified strange things start happening inside the house like noises and Alice's images appearing in photographs and videos, after watching other found footage and hearing stories from people they know they discover Alice was hiding a secret life and search for evidence to find out more, there's a lot of found footage movies around now but it's best to watch this with an open mind and make your decisions after you've watched it, most of the footage is distorted in true blur witch fashion and you really have to scan the images to see but that's part of the fun and helps you to involve yourself, I found it interesting because you can see somebody every day and in reality you know nothing about them everyone has their personal secrets and hides them from the people closest to them, it does have a spooky atmosphere and watching the footage and trying to find things hidden in the darkness is engaging it does come with a lot of positive reviews and was a nice surprise and definitely worth a try if you like the supernatural and ghost stories
