My Lovely bones is about a 14 year old girl called Suzie Salmon (like the fish) who is trapped and murdered by one of her neighbours, she refuses to accept her death and watches over her family from a world between heaven and the living world, she meets other young girls who have also been murdered by the same guy who try to convince her to come with them so she can be at peace but after seeing the pain her family are living through she can't let go until she's achieved her last wish (A moment that was stolen from her) , this movie is beautifully made it looks absolutely stunning the actors are all excellent and add so much to the emotion as does the dream like imagery and the beautiful music, (Liz Frasers voice is angelic) and the serial killer Mr Harvey (Stanley Tucci) is perfectly creepy as you can see what's going through his mind but he looks like someone you'd never suspect he plans everything in meticulous detail making notes, drawings and scale models, it's directed by Peter Jackson famous for Lord of the rings but who is someone I know for a super gory zombie movie he made before becoming a star called Brain dead (this will be movie 27 on my list 😉), based on the novel by Alice Sebold it's beautifully made and crafted with a lot of thought and very emotion for a horror movie, so highly recommend if you want something deeper than a normal slasher movie
