I decided to set myself a challenge and watch a horror movie each night in October as a build up towards Halloween, some movies are well known and others not so well known
Night 5 - An American werewolf in London (1981)
This one is a really fun movie to watch, it has a nice mixture of comedy and horror some ground breaking special effects and was directed John Landis who is famous for making the thriller video for Michael Jackson, the movie is probably best known for its transformation special effects which look a little dated now but are still effective especially all the bone cracking sounds as David's body changes shape, it also has some really funny moments like the dialogue in the porn movie they watch 🤭🤭🤭 and when David wakes up naked with the wolves at the zoo and has to find a way to get home there are some cool dream sequence jump scares too, it also has some genuine sad moments too like when David is finally killed and his dead body changes back into human form, It's a little dated now but still a lot of fun to watch 🐺🌕
