We drew a good crowd for Saturday night's show, but you had to practically kill yourself to get them to pop. Those crowds are so hard to please. Oh well.
I managed The Future in his match against "The Dark Angel" Uriah. During the match, a boy reached over the rail and knocked my kippah off my head. lol I told security, which is the "bad guy" thing to do, and he addressed the situation. It's a no-no to even make contact with the performers. Future and I don't seem to be working very well together, but it was my first time with him. I hope he's receptive to everything I tell him. If not, he may be almost 7 feet tall, but I'll make him respect the business one way or another.
The second match I was involved in, I managed Tony Angel as he battled Sly "The Redneck Extremist". Angel was fired last year and his character loses every match he's in. I told the crowd that I found a loophole and got him his job back. Angel gave me a hand-held camcorder and I video taped his match. lol After he lost, I gave the camera back, told him he mad a fool of me, and the CEO Melanie Rogue fired him again.
The second half of the show, after intermission picked up a little bit and we even had a royal rumble style match for the main event.
My character, Albert Goldstein, has been getting over very well with crowds and I'm glad. The character wasn't expected to last very long, but it has, so I'm happy.
I'm going to try my hardest to get some pictures for everyone soon.
Thanks for all your support!
EDIT: I added pictures to my Rasslin' folder. Check 'em out!
