So I promised my sister that this year we would get out and do more fun things and explore more of the area we live in.
This weekend we ventured up into the mountains and did some bush walking. It was pretty cloudy/foggy first thing in the morning so sadly the views were covered BUT it did start to clear up towards mid day which made the walk and scenery absolutely stunning!
Pictures just don't do justice to seeing this in person.
We walked for over 2 hours and came across an amazing little stream and stopped for a break and snack.
I'm looking forward to exploring more of this mountain area over the next few months.

@gulliver8 a broken ankle oh dear! And yes the scenery is amazing!

yeah @_kettle hobbled back to the road and caught one of the trolley buses back into Katoomba where I bought multiple wraps at the drug store!! It was only kind of a micro fracture but swelled up like a black, blue and purple grapefruit. I have a great story now though :)
