This weeks blog homework was a challenge for me. @lyxzen asked the question "What are your favorite TV shows? The question was easy to answer: Buffy, Outlander, Stargate etc.... But the problem was writing a blog about something new! Over the last year on the site I've written a number of blogs on my favorite books which coincidentally have been turned into TV Shows.
Amazing right!!!
If you wanted to check out those blogs the links are below:
There is a new TV Show which I'm not too sure if it's on Nextflix or free to air TV (I'm pretty sure it's on the Space or Sci Fi channel I don't have foxtel).... in all honesty I have to get mine on the D/L haha BUT it's called 'Bitten'. Again it's based off one of my all time favorite book series written by an amazing Australian author (Kelley Armstrong)
The books are really popular here in Aus and they've recently over the last few years just been picked up and adapted into a graphic novel and have had a number of limited edition new novels adapted to have comic panels incorporated into them. Just something my book loving self get super excited over.
So many collectables! tehehehe
Here's a brief overview of the show (taken from IMDB) :
'When she left Stonehaven - 'for good this time' - Elena Michaels thought she had left the world of supernatural behind. Until the night she got a mysterious call from her pack leader asking her to come back. So now she is heading back, away from her normal life as a photographer in Toronto and back into the world of werewolves, full of rules about protect the pack and a man she had spent years trying to forget. As if things were not bad enough, Elena also happens to be the only living female werewolf.
Who's intrigued??
Hahah it's the best! :)
Fans of the books have been a bit hesitant with jumping on the band wagon because there have been a few major differences that have happened in series that didn't happened in the book but for me I'm totally all over it. I'm just excited to finally see the characters which I spent my teens wrapped in and to finally see them come to life on the screen.

It's got Laura Vandervoort who played Supergirl in Smallville in the lead and she is fantastic!! Not to mention Greyston Holt as her partner in crime and damn is he just the most gorgeous thing.
That beard!!
Anywho, ya'll should totally check the show out or at least the books! Werewolves, witches, warlocks, fights, crime.... who can resist that!!
That's all from me for now, I've had another busy week working day's in a row and just come home to then have to run out to the vet's with a dog emergency. My dog has to go in on Monday and have surgery so I've got my fingered crossed that she's ok and it's nothing serious!
