so the past 4 nights i've been talking to an old friend via webcam.
long story short: i had the BIGGEST crush on him when i was in 6th grade and he was in 8th. but ya know, back then it wasn't cool to date a 6th grader. haha
we've talked a bit through the years and seen each other once in a while.
the other day i sent him a facebook message just saying hi. and we ended up talking on AIM and webcam for 3+hours! and then for the past 3 nights about the same length of time. tonight it was only about 30-45 minutes..

oh yea..he's in the air force and in afghanistan right now. he's stationed in japan but will be back home sometime in the spring. he tells me i'm pretty and wants to get together when he's back in town. he told me that he definitely sees me as a friend and also can see me as an interest.

i think it's great that we've reconnected and its SOOO easy to talk to him and we talk for hours on end. however..i feel like i'm getting ahead of myself expecting something to come out of it. because of the wonderful invention of the webcam, if something developed, i'd probably be able to handle the long distance thing. but idk.. i probably shouldn't get too excited.

what do you guys think? about long distance relationships/my situation/etc.
let me know. i'm bored. lol
