One month down - 12 to go. Deployments still suck, but I'm feeling a little better.
I think I'm going to be too busy to think about it much. My photo class is gearing up to get hectic. Tuesday night I'm going to teach them (well, try to anyway) to load a developing tank. We're doing it with junk film in a lighted room. I can't even imagine what it's going to be like in total darkness. Should be kinda funny. Half my class really wants to be there and learn. The other half thinks they are going to skate through it and they are pissing me off. OMG - Do I sound old or what?! DAMN KIDS! ha ha
I've joined a couple more groups here on SG, made some new friends, and I'm going to get through the next year just fine with just the occasional meltdown. I seriously think sometimes that I would fly 22 hours to Iraq just to spend one night with Chuck though.

Thank you for your well wishes. I'm in rough shape, but I think I've been partially numbed to all the pain and loss due to everything I've been going through the last several months. It hurts, but I have a slew of friends and family rallying around me. I'll get through it okay.
