Hello guys.
I haven't posted anything for almost a year, apparently. Some of you may have noticed I have taken down all my MR sets months ago, this blog has been fermenting in my head for a long time now. The last hit was to discover I'd been kicked out of the French group (no biggie though).
As you'll have understood by now, I have kind of grown out of SG.
I became a SG in December, 2011, when my first ever set went out. It was a huge surprise, even if it was easier than now to have a set bought, I still have trouble believing it now. I've never really felt like a SG (good ol' impostor syndrome is deeply rooted), but it's been great at first, it was one of the things that made me connect with my body and being a sexual creature, at a time where I felt like being sexy was a curse because it was unrequited almost all the time. It gave me a chance to choose WHEN and WHERE to be "a babe", on my own terms.
I was 20 at the time, this is a period in life where you grow and change and learn and live a lot, so even in 3 short years that went by with rocket-speed, I've changed a lot. It must sound ridiculous at only 24 to say I have done my fair bit of experiments and am done with them, and it's untrue, but I'm focused towards different things nowadays. Instead of just doing anything.
I've been working and studying very very very fucking hard this past years, and I'm eager to start life as an illustrator, cartoonist and author now. I'm settled in my own flat with my own love and my own cats and this is the right environment to grow today, and to grow towards inside and for my work. This is what's important and this is what I want to be doing right now.
I'll try to do a photo-walk down memory lane with my favorite SG-related pictures one day, so I won't archive, and who doesn't like to visit old friends ? :)
I'm not a model anymore but I'm definitely a cartoon character, so if you want to stay in touch, you can find my work on facebook, cargo and tumblr. I doubt many people will read this but thank you to anyone who made this journey an inspiring one.
See you around !
