So! I get up at the ass crack of dawn today, because it's like Christmas was heppening early. We bought an awesome 42inch plasma tv on Saturday that was to be delivered this morning and set up for my viewing pleasure.

Right.

What I actually got was 2 guys, putting a huge box down in my living room and leaving. Then of course when I...

Just plug things in and press buttons and see what happens. It's highly unlikely it'll kill you. MOst electronics are idiot proof these days anyway as most of the technicians electronics companies employ are underpaid, undertrained idiots.

To be honest I have no idea how differant a plasma screen is to a normal TV but i'd probably get stuck straight in. I'd make sure there was no one else around mind as I'm sure there would be plenty of swearing and kicking of walls. I never ask for help, I'm a man biggrin

I think I'm broken.

Have you tried turning yourself off and then on again? That often fixes things.

It's funny how often me and booze are linked. I can't imagine why. whatever

I'm home alone and 1/2 through a bottle of insanely tasty wine that I picked up from McMenamins Edgefield Winery., and watching The Corpse Bride. Good times and feeling very content smile

I'm hoping to get tickets to see Heavens The 24th can't be here fast enough.

My brother took the day off tomorrow so we can hang out...Kick ass. He's one of my best...

God I love the rain. I laid in bed for over an hour just listening to it pound on the roof and windows.

I finally got a call back about a job I inquired about 3 weeks ago. Hopefully this goes well and the lady calls me for an interview soon. I am in dire need of a good job.

Going to a bridal shower...

Rainy days are the best. Though I find it hard to stay inside when it rains, there's something that makes me want to go out there and feel the rain on my face, hear the splashes when walk through it and watch everyone running trying to find some shelter...

This week a shattered tea set will serve as a fitting metaphor for your clumsy coming-of-age as a woman.

Hahaha, I love The Onion ^_^

Ace new photo, you look great in it.

The profile idea was because I found it impossible to keep a straight face when taking a photo of myself head on. It seems to limit the smirk which is cool.

Wine is lovely. That and ale (warm beer the rest of the world calls it) which is something I don't think you get anywhere outside of the UK. Wine is the drink I was bought up on and I have gotten kinda snobby about it recently, I really don't like cheap stuff. i'd love to go on a wine tasting, if I ever get enough moneyl I'm off to the Rhone valley.

I woke up very cranky today, and have ended up feeling very content. It's weird how one minute I go from being cranky, to stressing out about something and then ending in that peaceful feeling that everything is ok.

Hopefully that lasts.

Man, I was a jerk tonight.

If only we could understand what made us happy we'd can it and keep it forever.

So I just had a nervous breakdown while washing the dishes, and that was good times. I was chatting with Andrew about this whole job situation and started crying all over my palmolive. Then he brought up a good point.

"Keri, it's only Wednesday."

Haha, I love him! I've only been out of a job for 6 days and I'm freaking out. I know I'll...

Your last sentance is what I decided to do in the end, I just haven't been happy were I am now and I know living at my parents place makes me happy most of the time. If people want to frown at that then they are more then welcom.

Being wthout work is scary but it's better then being stuck in a rut at a job you hate. Just keep calm and remeber that anyone you talk to would be lucky to employ you, belief in yourself goes a long way whne you're job hunting.

7 years sounds like forever to me - in the last 7 years I've had at least 5 permanent jobs and a couple of temporary jobs. Being in the same workplace for too long scares me.

Packing again! Leaving for Oregon in about 1 hour, and I am stoked smile A weekend getaway with Andrew and good friends is exactly what I need right now. Newly unemployed and kind of pissed about how my job ended, I need some rejuvination.

Yesterday was my last day at work...It was so strange. 7 years there and my boss acts like she doesn't even give...

Hope you had a good weekend, sometimes getting away from everything is the best way even if its only for a short while.

The important thing to remember when leaving a job in shitty circumstances is that it is there loss. A little bit of arrogance at times like that goes a long way.

Job searching fucking sucks balls.

Also, my front porch is infested with wasps, making it impossible for me to go to the basement to do laundry. Looks like I'll be wearing these sweats forever.
