It was nuts man. I worked the whole weekend, and since it was a holiday weekend, we were TOTALLY fucking slammed. Pulled in a couple thousand dollars on my register alone, which is practically unheard of in winter months.

Otherwise, it was nice. Went out with a friend to a couple of bars, met a few random people. Been passing out some music to co-workers and I've been getting a pretty good response to it. Today is a lazy day, my only goal is to find a place that has an open mic night I can play at for next weekend.

How was your weekend dear? smile
shadowslightness:
/ramble on!

Shit man! That's a pretty intense start to a weekend. I don't like the violence either. It always makes me really uncomfortable. I don't understand people who resort to that kind of shit.

But at least you got to play with a cute puppy. AND watch old school legend of Zelda. I was always the watching type. Whenever my dad or brother would play a game, I'd just sit and follow along. I always liked it more than playing, I don't know why. I actually watched my dad play the original Zelda from beginning to end, then halfway through the second version in one day. It was nuts.

I totally have to do my taxes still. Glad to hear you're optimistic about things though! You can totally get that shit done.

I would love to have people show up to an open mic night. Having any kind of support is always a total help. I don't have any kind of website, but I'd love to email a few things your way. Just let me know. smile

And now, it's time to get ready for a long and boring night at work. Hopefully, it won't get windy again. Whenever it's windy, we start to sway since we're so high up. Feels like you're on a boat! Not fun. puke

Bleh bleh bleh! I haven't been able to shake this shitty mood for 3 days now, and I'm really really trying. I thought, "ok today is going to be a good day!" And then I tried starting my car to find that it's dead. JESUS, seriously? AGAIN! This is the 2nd time in less that 2 months. Joy oh fucking joy!

My one accomplishment for...

Yeah, I don't know what it is about this week man, but I've been in a shitty mood too. I think this is just a bad week.

Congrats on the 68 priest, by the way. smile

I always let my hair grow to the point where I get totally sick of it, then cut it really short. Keeps you from sticking to one style. Definitely dig that.

And it's okay to complain, I don't think any of us would mind. Hope things start looking up. smile

I must be the only computer gamer left on earth who has no idea about WoW but congratulations as you sound pleased with it. biggrin

I hate unexplained funks, whne theres something obvious to be upset or mad about it's so much easier to pick youself up. When you can't explain why you feel shitty people tend to lose patience pretty quick and you can't even blame them.

Hope you are havinga good weekend and you've done something to dispell the grey clouds.

At the moment I am convinced there is nothing tastier than fresh homemade salsa. Though next time I'll wear some latex gloves, because the peppers set my hands on fire ^.^ I think Guacamole is up next, and I can then spend my evening vegging out and gorging on some chips with these fine dips. I'm in too good of a mood to care about...

PS- Homemade salsa sounds amazing. Makes me miss the good old days of mexican food binges.

Hey dear! I work on the weekends (get up at 6AM to get to work...ugh). And it's always so busy on the weekends because all the tourists come regardless of weather situations. Ugh. SO, long weekend, but I slept in today. It was amazing. smile

And so far, on my day off, I haven't accomplished anything that I'd planned either. Haha, guess that's just how it goes.

I'll be glad to send some music to you. They're just little demos I've done over the past few years, not recorded too terribly well. But I moved here for it, so hopefully the songs are somewhat decent. And I am absolutely trying to get into the music scene here. I use trying loosely as I've just finally gotten settled into my apartment and haven't really tried anything yet, but it's why I'm here. At any rate, I'd love to go rock out sometime. That would be awesome.

Most of my characters are on the Steamwheedle Cartel server. I think I have a random dwarf paladin named Gotard on some other server (I play that as back-up when my server's down). What about you?

Monday Monday Monday! The weekend was good, filled with friends, drinks and much Wii playing. Tennis kicked my ass which makes me realize how out of shape I am, haha. Too fun though, I need to get my hands on one of those!

Tonight is StinkMitt at the WildRose and I'm excited. The last show was pretty sweet, and this time my good friend will...

Trying to stay busy isn't easy when your head is full of things. I am so tired, so I take pills to help me sleep, but I wake up feeling restless still. I get up and put on a happy face just so I won't have to answer any questions from people and that just makes me even more tired and flustered.

The only bright...

Keeping your chin up when the world seems dead set against you isn't easy. The thing to focus on is how good it's going to feel to prove the whole world wrong. Prooving the whole world wrong is a wonderful feeling, the greatest fuck you of all.

In the mean time I find drink helps tongue

Avail was AWESOME. Honestly one of the best live shows I've seen. Now to see Tim Barry on his solo tour...No local dates on his touring schedule, so some travel might be involved.

Weee I had an interview today! I think it went pretty well considering it's only the 2nd one I've ever had in my life. I'm pretty excited about it, although the hours pretty much kill my weekends. Opening shift as a barista means at work by 4:30am...And it's Saturday-Tuesday, haha. Oh well though, I need to start making money...This unemployed shit is old.

It's been...

At least you don't have endless rain, I don't think we are even going to geta winter this year.

Having to work weekends is only bad if all your freinds work office hours and don't like going out on school nights. Here the weeknights are the best one to go go out on as 1) Prices drop dramatically and 2) there are less people about behaving like arseholes.

Good luck kiss

Well, I made it through the holidays and I'm happy to say I am much more chipper about life than I was 2 weeks ago. I suppose that sulking about and obsessing over things that won't change doesn't do me any good, so I think I'll stop tongue

Christmas was good, had a nice time with the family and received lovely gifts. I spent that week...

Sulking and obsessing over thing sthat won't change is an importnat part of my life. In fact add blaming completely the wrong person for them and that's mee to a tee.

Glad to hear that you are feeling better and had a good holiday period. Being unemployed sucks at the best of times so I can imagine it's not too much fun over Christmas. At least you are thinking about what you want to do in life though, I usually let life just hit me.

I haven't seen any bands for weeks now and theres not a lot in town till Feb when theres loads and I don't have enough money for it all. I have only ever seen bands once on New Years and I will concur that it made for the best New Years ever, what I can remember of it anyway.

I know that feeling, just make sure you surround yourself with people you trust. It always feels like you are completely alone when you are are feeling depressed but in my experience that's rarely the case. Sometimes help will come from unexpected sources, sometimes it will be right under you nose but there's usually some around if you look in the right places.

I hope your ok, this is a shitty time of year to be miserable. Kinda strange that, seeing as so many people are miserable but no one ever said humans had to make sense. Hope you have a great New Year and 2007 is brilliant for you kiss

The storms rolling through Seattle this week are getting a bit intense. The ind woke me up 4 times throughout the night, and it hasn't stopped. I'm worried my roof might cave in from the rain, let's hope that doesn't happen.

Got our Christmas tree last night! While decorating the tree, BunBun was going crazy in her cage...It was pretty freaking cute until she bounced...

Well, the new layout is interesting! Wasn't sure about it at first, but now I'm thinking I like it. I'm sure once I get used to it, it will change again though wink

Downloading this WoW patch and I just want to log in already. I should be doing laundry and cleaning house while it DL's, but I'm wasting my time online instead. Glad to see...

TIme wasted doing something fun isn't really time wasted. I think your motivation is probably on a well earned break. My motivation drags me to work every day and I have no idea why, I wish it would take a break.

You would adore my uncles house then, he has more lights up then an international airport and I think we counted 3 trees although we may have missed some. We haven't got anything up at home as we have had the builders in, it does feel pecularly un-Christmassy.

Hahahaha, Ohhh Kelly.

Siv's journal refreshed my obsession.

I just couldn't face going to another show on my own, esepcially on the weekend when I am really busy anyway. At least I didn't waste any money on drink so I am going to pass it off as a cost saving exercise although obviously it would have been cheaper not to buy the tickets in the first place.

Snow? What is this snow you speak of? I think the south east of England gets the least snow of any region of northern Europe and this year is on course for being the warmest on record and records go back to the 17th century so not a lot of snow going on. All I am getting is rained on. I'll swap you some drizzle for some snow? biggrin
