It's both a scary and exhilarating moment when you realise that life is loitering outside waiting for you and that you might have to go and grab it. I think I might have finally got it nailed down this year, fingers crossed. You are certainly grabbing it with both hands by the sounds of it.

Having money for music is pretty much the only reason I am still in my job, I don't know where I'd be without something to get excited about.

I have to be cautious about sideburns because for some reason, most conservative companies still see them as some kind of sign for unruly rebellion. Yet moustaches, beards, and goatees are all fine...

I was fine with the sun, but it got a little too warm in my apartment. Sitting on the balcony in some board shorts with the gentle breeze though...goddamn, so relaxing. I definitely need to get a fan though (for those days where I too need to just fucking strip in front of one).

I wish I could make it to that show, but I'm unfortunately working tonight until 10. Damn work schedule. In a few weeks though, it'll be changing to 9-5 Mon-Fri. Can't believe I'm so excited to have a normal work schedule, but having nights and weekends free is essential to doing anything. Thanks so much for the invite though, one of these days I'll actually be free.

And yeah, waking up to a dirty cereal bowl on the toilet...what are you supposed to do with that? I just stood there for a good minute staring at it, then walked away. Ridiculous. But it won't be long, I can almost taste the freedom!

And yeah, there was one guy in particular who kept fucking pushing me, putting his hands on me, being a loud asshole. I was pissed, but I should have just moved earlier on and enjoyed more of the show. Still, watching Mike Patton sing only 8 feet from me was a trip. Goddamn.

Yeah, the Space Needle destroys your sanity pretty quickly. I've always loved seeing people enjoying themselves, but whenever I'm at work, I hate everyone that comes up to me. It's awful, I hate feeling like that, but it's really hard not to. I absolutely should work up on capitol hill, seeing as I live there already. It would make life much simpler. When I was at the coffee shop around the corner last night, they said I should apply for a job. I've been VERY seriously considering it.

We will definitely have to meet up some time, and yes, I'd love to follow through on it as well. Unfortunately, I'm going out of town the weekend of the 16th (it's like the only time I've gone out of town in 5 months, how shitty is my luck?), but keep me posted if anything else ever comes up. If time and scheduling allow it, I'm always more than happy to get together.

But yes, if nothing else, Peeping Tom. I'll be easy to find as I'll be the guy in a come that gets wheeled out in the first song.

hehe i've totally become my mother in the "tea and vitamins" sense... it really does work though! i'm loaded up on meds & vitamins & whatnot, so I'm feeling a bit better. Thanks for the note sweets, totally made my day!

hope you have a fantastic time with your best friend! seattle is fantastic (i'm in tacoma) but i know that the housing / job situation isn't the greatest there. best of luck with that... OH! and trust me, I am the queen of crappy cars... I have absolutely had the worst luck so I totally feel your pain. My suggestion would be to have your alternator checked (just realized someone mentioned that several days ago...) BUT, depending on the type of car you have, it might be a relatively inexpensive fix!
