part II of the never ending paranormal saga
this one comes from my childhood yet again. it's not a large one so i'll probably throw in two. on a little side note, these all happened in the same apartment complex in salt lake city.
next to the apartment complex was this huge open lot. it was paved into a culdesac but no houses were ever erected there for quite some time. an old wooden fence divided the lot from the apartment complex and on the south side of the lot was a sloping hill covered in trees and many many exposed roots. a wonderland for young boys with overactive imaginations. you never knew what lied in wait in the roots, and many imaginary wars were fought there too.
it was mid summer and a friend and i were crawling around the maze of roots like we normally would when the temperature dropped drastically. we both entered into a clearing and floating right there was this blue bald head with glowing eyes. we both saw it, screamed like little girls and took off running like our feet were on fire and our asses were catching.
not much of a story, but one that sticks out in my mind. the other one equally short but also eerie. this one happened in my bedroom, which i remember as being quite large. when you're little, everything is huge especially when you can squeeze yourself into cupboards and such. also, being a little kid, i had a lot, A LOT of toys. all of which i wish i still had because i could make some bank on the star wars, dukes of hazzard, z.o.i.d.s., transformers and a whole gammit of other totally awesome, deemed no longer safe for little kids toys. one late morning while i was laying in bed, i heard some noises like stuff moving around. i bolted upright and looked towards the window only to find my millennium falcon in mid flight attacking my z.o.i.d.s. who were also fighting back. as a matter of fact, all my toys that were on the floor (i was a messy kid) were all moving around. alarmed, i bolted out of the room and hear before i closed the door, the toys falling back down.
how neat is that?
anyway, the next few are by far not as mellow or playful as those first three have been.
if you have any of your own stories that you would like to share, feel free to add them here.

I have no creepy ghost stories, although, once, in like 4th or 5th grade, we watched "Carrie" at a sleepover, and it made this one girl CONVINCED that she was gonna get her period, so all night we sat in the hall outside the bathroom, and she was like, "no, not yet.... no, not yet...."
