Updated update:
Wanna sublet my apartment???
I'm going to be away from May 15 - September 5...
I have a gorgeous 2 room studio in Somerville that I don't want to lose, it's literally the nicest apartment I've ever had.

And in other good news, I got the internship at the dive shop, which is partly why I'll be away. I'm going to be getting my Rescue and Dive Master Certification, while working at the dive shop - so six weeks of diving every day!!! Life is good.
So let me begin by apologizing for not being around much over the past few months. I, as you know if you've been reading along, have been working on some major projects for school. And tomorrow I hand in my undergraduate senior thesis, a total of 40 pages and DONE. Last Monday, in equally good news, I handed in my undergraduate senior thesis in creative writing, a total of 56 pages and DONE. And Thursday I hand in my undergraduate senior thesis in Religion and Law, 18 pages and still in progress.
So that's good - I'm almost all the way done with this killer semester. I'm burnt out. I have a statistics exam on Wednesday, the Student Senate elections to run, the journal I edit going to press tomorrow, and three books for the press I work for going out on Friday. But I'm living for May 14th when it all gets done, done, done.
Then, hopefully on May 15th I'll be flying to Key Largo where I will be getting my dive master certification, and then heading to Oxford on July 1st. So still lots of planning, still lots of work, but the biggest scariest project is off my plate.
I just got back from presenting it, actually, the one I'm handing in tomorrow which is called "The Geography of Poetry: Post Nationalism in Pablo Neruda and Mahmoud Darwish." It's a lot of theory, but the presentation went pretty well. It was in Ashville, North Carolina - which is surprisingly cool for being in the south and all. And while I was there I got a sunburn. That's right, a fucking sunburn. I'm so excited about that, it's ridiculous. It was 80 and sunny the second day I was there - and it made me miss the warmth. Of course it's cold and rainy here in Boston. Summer soon.
So yes, that's my update, my apology, and the little I have left in me. Now you get pictures. Well, a picture. This is from my shoot with ChristopherLee from a while ago.

Have fun getting your rescue cert. It was a blast! Nothing like trying to drag a limp, 200 pound guy out of the water, while rescue breathing and stripping off his gear.
