Some days I'm just happy to be me. I can't really explain it, it's just that some days I wake up and think: my life is awesome. Today was one of those days.
It may have to do with the wonderful time I had last night hanging out with Alexsandria and Lexie and all the other awesome SGBoston people.
That was just what I needed - I've been so reclusive the past few years I've forgotten what it's like to have friends and go out and be a real person instead of a student. And the best part is, no one wanted to talk about school, or school work, or any of the projects I'm working on. That's what my school friends always want to talk about. And sometimes I need a night off, dammit.
Anyway, I'm in a great mood, so I just wanted to share.
Oh, and for you who have the pictures, send them to me. I need proof that I have a life outside of school.

I am glad that "today was one of those days" we need those, I know exactly what you mean about school friends often only wanting to talk about school shit, it's good to have some seperation.
