often things move so fast that i forget myself. i know this because it's i who engineers the speed and the ensuing blur which offers so much relief. trouble is, in the forgetting myself, i can also sometimes forget others.

ps - the "new punk" (at least, as it's know to me) frightens me. i mean, the aesthetic part. it seems to take so much money, time, and upkeep. makes me feel like one of those "i'd rather be . . . " bumper stickers. don't get me wrong: whatever works. i'm just sayin.
