Due to an excellent recommendation from a friend, I have signed a modeling contract through a promotional company!
My first event was last weekend- I signed on for Promoting Fireball at a Biker rally in Yakima, got a sweet paycheck and had a ton of fun, along with meeting some wonderful people. The host MC was full of badass members and some gorgeous bikes. There was an event this weekend (for the Sounders Match!) that would have been wonderful, but I didn't sign up in time. At the end of the month, I might be doing another liquor promo event in the Tricities for the boat races.
I miss doing photo modeling, to be completely honest. There is an SG-shaped peghole in my icy little heart, but supporting the other ladies makes a big difference. So go, show some love!
Had a chance encounter with an old friend, perhaps. Across the way, in the dark, there was a flash of a smile- a spark in an eye. Difficult to tell from the distance, I cannot confirm that it was who I thought, but certain signs have made my mind nearly convinced. The glow of the moon, the distant bar song in the alley, or the screech of the owl very close to me. Real or not, I will remember that feeling and thought and wish her well.
