My Christmas lights are up, Season 2 of American Horror Story is on, and there is a Killian's in my hand. It has been a few weeks since my last update and I wanted to go through the highlights of 2013 to send it off.
I have stuck with a single hair color for most of the year, and only dyed it three times, only a trim since May. Pardon the angry look, I was bored out of my skull with no chores left to do.
My ass is in scrubs. The new job is fantastic and I am so glad that I took the chance and went out for it. Now let's see if I can get my damn Certification paperwork filed (damn name changes).
With the way things are going, it looks like I will have my surgery within the following year- BOOBIES! as Deadpool puts it. This is an accurate description of my feelings about the situation. Debating between a couple of surgeons, but making great progress.
I looked back through my New Years Resolutions from last year, and truly I have evolved in wonderful ways within the past year. Being proud of oneself is quite a gem, is it not?
I've made some amazing friends within the past year. Most of which are also Redheads...
Speaking of friends-
Hideki and I celebrated our 4th Anniversary this year and went out drinking with friends. Being sufficiently smashed, he drove home with a friend and I gave his bestie a ride home. Dropped off the boy, then back to my own apartment to find something interesting happening on my couch... Hideki and my friend (let's call her Natalie) were sitting next to one another on the couch looking quite flushed. I was SO DAMN EXCITED and hoped that this vision was headed in the direction I thought it was.
My friends, IT WAS. And IT DID. And even when 'Natalie' pulled our bedroom window curtain down atop my head while I was astride her, we all had a good laugh and kept rolling. We all had a wonderful romp that lasted hours and were all sufficiently covered in hickeys the following day. What an awesome anniversary!
Speaking of anniversaries, 2014 will be my third year here on SG. I'm excited to see what it holds and am grateful to all of you for your support (as cheesy as it sounds). Happy Holidays and New Year, darlings, this little fox will see you all on the other side!
