The beautiful set that SoBelle and I shot at the beginning of October will be in your eyes January 16, 2014! The name of the set, 'You're the Secret I Keep' is from the song 'Blue Eyes' by the Cary Brothers, which I first heard when I went to see Garden State with some close friends from college several years ago.
This song has come to mean something very special between a couple of us, and after having spoken to one of them that very weekend after so long of missing them, it stuck in my mind for weeks afterward. Remembering sitting on the hood of the car under the stars out at the pond in Arkansas, smoking cigars and drinking shitty girlie beers (Raspberry Smirnoff Ice), we would listen to this song and sing it over and over-one of my fondest memories. Knowing that my heart races just thinking about how deeply my friends know me more than anyone else, and feeling ornery and sexy about all of our crazy secrets just makes me the happiest.

In other news, I am working two jobs, exhausted, and missed my gf's Samhain ritual because I fell asleep on the couch watching Arrow. *facepalm*. So I am making it up to her by representing earth in another way. Taking her to get matching tattoos... it's going to be a Pokemon. Can you guess which one?!
