I am irritated by mispronunciation. So much so that I will check an online dictionary just to satisfy my smug sense of accuracy.
We have processes to follow at work, which include terms such as "Call" and "Incident". They differ. They mean different things. They are different. I hear people using each term in the wrong context. The inaccuracy in their use of terminology irritates me.
My chest is pounding. My thoughts are racing. My eyes have forgotten that all important function of focus and along with my mind they race from place to place. How I ever found you attractive is beyond me. Your voice is like a vice to my chest, squeezing out every last drop of frustration until it coarses through my veins. You're loud because I was cruel to you today. And you want to prove that you're Ok. But you're not otherwise your volume would not be begging for my attention.
