We went, we sold, we conquered! Business on our 'jumble' stall was amazing today. We made arounf 175, happy days!! I guess having a little obsession with charity shops really can pay off. We intend to use the money to pay our Council Tax, a good call from my housemate. Council tax is daylight robbery, but then so is buying bags for 1 and selling them for 5-12... a fitting use for our earnings methinks! We had a severe lack of men's clothes and everything we had for men sold like hot cakes. All of my beloved paisley, tweed and flat bottom ties are gone but they've gone to a better place... a place where someone will actually wear them!
My pirate fancy dress raffle (you could win an awesome top, skull and crossbones belt and earrings) didn't go down too well. Damn fools! (I'm glad I got to use that smiley!)
I also had some major interest in and "I Love Panda" t-shirt that I picked up recently. I have no idea what it's all about or when the slogan originates from but I finally decided against selling it. It will look TOO good with some leggings, leg warmers and my beloved high tops.
Now I'm groggy and moody and have been a little mean to my whiter than white boyfriend (damn him and his patient, loving ways!). When he can drag his hands from his console control pad I'll make it up to him!
