GAH! I got up early to go to the airport and fly today, and my goddamn instructor never showed up. Really, I want to get this shit finished so I can stop spinning my wheels and get on with my life. Just to feel better I did about two weeks worth of homework for my current classes. Online classes rock. Well, sorta. I just got an e-mail from one of my teachers from last term, and apparently he LOST my tem paper. I e-mailed it in on time, and I hadn't seen a grade posted on it a week after the term was over. So, I sent him an e-mail asking if he ever got it. His response was "I got it, and you're in the pile to be graded." Fast forward two weeks to last night. I check my college e-mail account (which is different from my regular one), and he's asking me to resubmit it. I check my grades, and sure enough I've got a big 'ole INCOMPLETE when everyone else has their grades done. Guess what asshole. I wiped my hard drive after you said you had my paper. I don't intend on keeping those things indefinately, and if you had graded it when I fucking sent it to you (two weeks BEFORE it was due) instead of waiting until the grades were due, I wouldn't be in this shit. I refuse to retype the damn 12 page monstrosity. I don't have most of the references anymore anyway, and the ones I do are three states away. Here's hoping he'll take a short summary of it and be happy. Otherwise, I'm just hoping I pass. Sucks since I had a fucking A in the class before this moron fucked it up.
Now the two classes I'm taking now are actually interesting. I (gasp) enjoyed doing the two weeks worth of homework in Airline Management today, and Marketing seems like a GPA booster for me. Now, if I can just get my damn flight ratings done, I'm three classes away from graduating.
At least I managed to get in the air for the first time in 6 months the other night. Can't ask for better weather here. It's in the seventies and sunny. Well, since I flew at night it wasn't sunny. It was like my life actually had meaning again, even though I was only in the air for a total of an hour and ten minutes. My radio skills have gotten MAJORLY weak, but they'll come back with practice. In the meantime, I stumble over things like "Cessna 9336H turn left....um, right 10 degrees, climb and maintain.....uh, what was the altitude again?"
