Got to admit it's getting better.
Money and work are getting better. At Baker's, I have given in and volunteered to fulfill other workly duties, such as washing dishes and making pizza. For instance, I was scheduled to was the dishes for five nights this week. Washing dishes isn't really that rad, but at least I can pace myself and take breaks whenever I want. Additionally, I can leave whenever I get them done, and it usually takes no more than four hours. Additionally additionally, I am happy to have some sort of income.
A lot of shit has gone down since I last blogged, but silly me, I cannot for the life of me remember it all.
Let's see.
I hang out with Zornes and Kayleigh pretty much every day. My good buddy Kendra from high school moved back in town and is taking classes on-line next semester, so she's tags along on pretty much every friend-related excursion. It's been fun times. We usually sit around. Talk. Gossip. Eat. Make fun of Kayleigh's deaf cat (and pet her because she's adorable). Shop (when money is abundant and even when it's not). Play games. Go to the park. Et cetera. Today they came over to my house, and we played Super Nintendo for a few hours. We're all going for a walk together after dinner. Good fun great happy spectacular awesome times, I say.
A few Saturdays ago, Zornes, Kayleigh and I dressed like nerds and attended a show in Mansfield, Ohio with Kendra (who opted to dress normally). Dan and Damein's old band, No Pants Nation, reunited for the show and played a stellar set.
Kendra took this picture of us nerds. We had a nerd meal of egg salad sandwiches and ginger ale before the event:

Dan is reading American Psycho now. Finally. This pleases me.
I am going to paint my toenails dark dark dark dark blue. Not light blue. Dark. Like the depths.
I finally received a new cellular phone last weekend. It has a camera and real ring tones and an mp3 player and everything, just like a cool kid phone that cool kids usually own.
My Fourth of July celebration was pleasant. I watched the fireworks and played with sparklers with my friends the night before the actual Fourth (that would be the third of July for all you inept readers). Zornes captured this comical moment via digital camera:

The next day, I had a cookout with my family. Shannon and her man even came for the cookout! After eating, Zornes, Kayleigh, Kendra (and her faithful dog Gary), and I headed to the lake (Port Clinton, Ohio) and stayed at Kendra's place for a few days. We swam, played Yahtzee! and Rummy, and discussed matters of teenage-girl-importance until the wee hours of the morning. Here are some choice photos I snapped:

Dan has been in town to visit here and there, but it's difficult for him since he works in Columbus every day but Thursday and Sunday. Additionally, he lives in Columbus. Additionally additionally, I still don't have possession of the Plymouth Sundance for driving purposes. Sigh le sigh. Speaking of Danly things, the 16th is our one-year anniversary. AWW.
Here is a picture of us that Kayleigh took. It makes me laugh.

Also this one from Bonnaroo is a keeper.

Time for pancakes. Goodnight now.
