Spring break! Woooo... spring break never really meant anything to me until this year with the introduction of college into my life.
I finished my exams on Tuesday and left early in the day while the remainder of my OU friends and acquaintances must remain there until Friday. I am currently at Dan's. He went to take an exam at 1:30 and has not gotten back from it yet. I am running out of things to do. I took a shower. Ate an apple. Helped Damein fill out his housing application (he is coming to OU next year). Made Dan's bed. Cleaned up the kitchen. Straightened my hair. Folded the laundry. Ho hum.
Okay, he just walked in the door. Nevermind.
Tomorrow we are seeing Brand New at the Newport. Hopefully I can obtain some sweet ass pictures.
Saturday there's going to be a huge birthday party for Mitch, Tom, and Dan/St. Patrick's Day extravaganza at Dan's house. So far, there are 30 confirmed guests. It's going to be wild, and I am slightly frightened.
So far, I know that I have an A as the final grade for three of my classes. The only class I am unsure of at this point is my photography class because I don't know what I got on my long-term project slide show or written final. However, I'm pretty positive I received an A in that class as well. If I can keep a 4.0 grade point average for all of my freshman year, it will help me immensely down the road when I encounter more difficult classes. That is my theory, anyway. Also, scholarships. I need those. They are nice.
I am really hungry. Now.
Dan, Joel, and I are going to Bonnaroo this year. I have never been. I am looking forward to it as many of my favorite bands will be there (The Police, Tool, Wilco, etc.). I am purchasing my ticket after I cash my financial aid refund check. It pays to be a poor student after all. Woot.
I played laser tag for the first time yesterday with Dan and Co. It was an amazing experience, even though my thighs are currently sore from all the ducking, dodging, squatting, and hiding. Anyway, the moral of the story is that I highly suggest you play laser tag. Now.
I am running out of words...
