Beeeeeeeeeeeed. That is where I should be right now. But I'm not. No, I'm not. My life. My days. My world right now. So utterly bland. But at least my mind is recuperating from all the work it did for the past three months. I have literally done next to nothing for the past three days. Shall I muse about the small achievements I've made? Of course.
Sunday I spent time with Nev. We went out to eat at Ruby Tuesday and I had a mammoth veggie burger slathered with hot sauce and blue cheese dressing. Their salad bar was skimpy, and I was mildly disappointed. After we ate, we went to the mall, and I bought an Andy Warhol wallet at Hot Topic that amuses me. Upon returning to good old Bucyrus, we hung out at his house and watched a concert on DVD... but I became quite tired so his girlfriend took me home.
OH YES, I FORGOT TO MENTION. My Cougar has been, for the most part, laid to rest. This makes me very sad. I love and miss him. I feel terrible every time I walk outside and see him sitting in the driveway, lonely and longing for me. Oh, Cougy.
So, if you're selling your call or know someone who is (for a reasonable, college student price), let me know. I need a car. I HATE depending on other people.
Later on Sunday night, I watched an HBO interview with Bono and the Edge. YAY. It made me very happy. Also made me happy: Bono's buzzed-off hair.
Monday I sat around the house on the computer nearly all day. I took a nice, long bath and listened to the new Brand New album. I cleaned some music off of my computer. I looked at some naked lady pictures on this very site. (I have a new love for Akemi.) I went to my grandma's house and had dinner and looked at a book of black and white dog photographs... t'was a lovely collection. I was happy to see some photos by Robert Capa and Annie Leibovitz. I actually know who those photographers are now!!! Thanks, Ohio University! *thumbs up* Later in the evening, I watched Jon Stewart with my dad. Then I went to bed.
This afternoon, I went to the eye doctor for an exam. Afterwards, I picked out a pair of glasses to wear. Yes, real prescription glasses. I think my eyes are tired of contacts. I've been wearing them for five years. Lately I've had so many headaches, and I'm wondering if contacts are to blame. Even if they're not, the glasses I picked out are soooo sweet ass. I've never seen another pair like them. They are much cooler than any of the classes I wore from age eight to age fifteen (and even the pair from seventh grade that I currently wear at night). Damn straight.
I also went to the chiropractor today. That was a much-needed visit. My neck and right shoulder have been killing me lately. (Another possible cause to the daily headaches.) Needless to say, my neck was in pretty bad condition, thanks to the impracticality of my bunk bed sleeping arrangement at school and the magnitudes of stress I undergo as a typical college student.
After Taco Bell with the grandparents and dad, I came home and took a nap because I was suffering from none other than one of my infamous crippling migraine headaches. It was so bad that I nearly vomited.
After about five hours of napping, it is better.
It turns out that I'm going to be working off and on during my winter break. I don't really mind. I need the money, and I prefer very few hours because I don't exactly want to be taking pizza orders for the next five weeks of my break. That doesn't sound very appealing, does it? No, I didn't think so.
Tomorrow... or, I guess, later today... after my 1:00 dentist appointment (!!!)... I am going to Cincinnati with Dan and his friend (and mine) Joel Louis Badanes. We are seeing +44, the Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker musical union. Should be grand. And I am spending the next few days after that in Columbus with Kool (aka, Dan) and the Gang (aka, the other people that live in the house), so I am enthralled as expected.
Bugs are invading my house. Please save me.
