Re: Wired story, anti-SG bullshit.

Missy is not a puppet. Sean is not a puppetmaster. They are not rich. They are fucking BUSY. Some of you have way too much fucking time on your hands. I saw the group, I've seen the journal, and I recognized a lot of people posting in there that I see here every day. What the fuck are you people still doing here? Go away and get a life.
It's very interesting, to me, that almost every single person leading the anti-SG thing is trying to set up a competing site. Hmm... now I wonder what alterior motives they could possibly have for dissing SG, hmm? It's "THE TRUTH ABOUT COKE, AS TOLD BY PEPSI". "Leave big, bad SG and come to my alt-porn paradise where it's cuddly wuddly happy fun feminist paradise all the day!" What the fuck ever. You get 800 hot women together, intelligent, interesting women with strong opinions and some with even stronger egos, and see if there isn't some drama. See if there isn't some bullshit.
I love women, but you know it's true that the odds of OHMYGOD DRAMA rise exponentially with the size of a group. 800 women. That's the size of my entire graduating class from high school, and that's all this is... stupid high school drama bullshit, people who take things way too seriously. People who projected things onto SG that were never there, and then were upset when the site didn't live up to what they had imagined. It's a business? They really mean what they say in the contract that I signed?
It's also very interesting to me that this anti-SG is getting a bit of real publicity for the first time at, I'm sure, *coincidentally* the same time that a big-time porn conglomerate, some of the big boys, are trying to get into the alt-porn website thing. Hmm... Y'know, I've been swimming in the publicist sea for three years now, and one thing I've learned is that there aren't very many coincidences in what gets published and when.
I know for a fact, personally, first-hand, that Sean and Missy et al have given dozens of people -- myself, Linz, scores of the girls, members -- opportunities that they neither earned nor would have ever gotten otherwise. Opportunities that were not owed to them or anyone else. And this is how people repay them? Fuck that noise. Long live SG.

Does it make a difference, for my point, whether these competing sites are fully operational, or merely in the works?
i'm really tired but i don't understand. your point was that it was people attempting to establish a competing site or sites, wasn't it? mine was that, in my experience, the people who are most vocally anti-sg don't have competition on their agenda. i guess you might be insinuating that there is an operational competing site that has all these people on payroll, but that is really far-fetched. sg doesn't really have a competitor in the niche they've carved out.
anyway, my answer is your question is besides my point and i don't see how it would matter to your's unless you're privy to some pin-up site economic strata that seems to be off everyone's radar.
