So we took some shrooms tonight and man, that was fun!
We listened to [in order]
Stone Roses self-titled, then just as it was kicking in we went to Bjork's Vespertine, then Brian Wilson's new Smile, then Sgt. Pepper's, then Air..
In the meantime we made dirty magnetic poetry, colored with crayons, then I got my old legos and toys out of the basement [which took a little bravery and "It's not real."!!] and we played with those.. then at one point I found my old lego walker thingy, and when I put a battery in it -- IT STILL WORKED[video]! I started crying from happiness and the beauty of it, and I think I said "My childhood's not broken." Which is sort of silly and drug-profound, in a way. Then we played about 5 minutes of Sonic the Hedgehog on the Genesis, and then we stood on the porch and stuck our hands in the rain that was coming off the roof.
I took less than the girls did, so I was sober enough to take these pictures. For me it was all just happy goofiness [my cheeks are sore from smiling] and the music was AMAZING. The girls had a few minor visuals, the pink rug wiggling and my wife imagined Spongebob Squarepants in the psychedelic print of her pillow.
Now she's talking about the pink fuzzies... hee
I think we're going to IHOP now.
