On Medifast so far I've lost 12 pounds in the first week. I'm sure half of that is water weight, but still, I'm officially under 350 for the first time in years! (349.7 heh)
Catching up on a lot of anime recently. Here's some of my favorite new stuff, with links to the first episode of each.
First, Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann is definitely my favorite.
Watch the first episode online.
The rest:
Claymore (video)
Ghost Hound (video)
Sunabouzu (video)
Spice and Wolf (video)
Code Geass (video)
and Macross Frontier (video)
Claymore, Gurren Lagann, and Ghost Hound are definitely my favorites of the bunch so far, but Sisters of Wellber might turn out pretty cool as well. The sentient tank character Cyrano de Bergerac is fucking hilarious in that. Also downloading Code Geass right now, so we'll see how that is. Gurren Lagann in particular is very funny and awesome.
Fansubs are so fucking cool. Really awesome to watch something like an episode of Ghost Hound only a few days after it airs in Japan. I remember the old days in the early 90s where you'd be lucky to see a VHS three or four years after it came out in Japan.

I just bought Bruce Springsteen - Nebraska on iTunes. You can blame Shalome's playing it in the car for several long trips in the past few months. I just thought you'd appreciate that, since I used to give you so much shit about being a big Springsteen fan.
