So last night at work I started shivering and just could not get warm. Even though it was 76 degrees outside, I had to turn on the heater. That is really unusual for me, I'm always the guy who wants to have the thermostat at 65. I thought maybe it was some side-effect of the lower-fat, smaller-portions diet, because I was still shivering like a maniac when I got home and went out on the balcony to smoke a cigarette.
This morning I woke up and my... guts... were NOT happy. My butt 'asplode, basically, I was still freezing, running a fever, feeling achey and miserable... I got to work and June, who works the morning the shift, was like "Go home. I'll figure it out."

I had it on christmas. I started shivering at about 5am christmas morning, and by that night I was running 101. My guts were on fire. I went to the emergency room and the pain was so bad they gave me morphine. All the tests came back normal. A "viral infection" they called it. "Call us if it gets worse" they said.
I was fine a couple of days later. They gave me some antacid stuff that really seemed to help.
