"And the trouble is, if you don't risk anything, you risk even more" Erica Jong-Am. Writer
I've been busy picking up odds and ends for work, trying to get everything organized. I'm also headed to Chicago next weekend with some Kzoo SG's and have been dealing with Amrak all week. Word to the wise don't by tickets last min. $$$$ I'm not even going to go over all the hassle with that but it should be a fun weekend, well 15 hours at least. I havn't been since I was like 7 or 8 years old. If the train thing goes smoothly then I will definatly travel to Chicago more often. I will give a full update when I return.
I had to pick up the train tickets today at the Detroit station and I was talking to the woman at the ticket counter; for those of you who don't know the stops in Royal Oak, Birmingham and Ponitac do not have actual stations; she told me that the government doesn't support train travel in the United States. So the old stations were closed long ago and now they are just cement slabs at a marked point along the tracks. I have never travled by train outside of Britian and over there they have stations even at the most remote locations and there is always places to wait and beverages. I just can't grasp the concept of people being illogical. Trains can be great ways to travel, they up tourism, add jobs (ie...station attendants), they alleviate car accidents. It pisses me off that the government doesn't support public trasportation OK I'm done ranting.
TODAY'S QUESTIONS:
1. When you were a little kid and saw yourself as a grown up is your life now, what you pictured?
2. What is your favorite horror movie (not cheesy)?
3. Commando?
4. If you could do anything to your hair what would it be?
Have a great weekend kiddies
