So have you ever seen frozen fog? I did last night. I googled it to try and post an image but no photo I found comes close to matching what I saw. Cold air (about 5 degrees) closing in on warmer ground causing think layers of mysterious fog. The fog then leaves moisture on everything, including your hair, which then freezes. But not in the crisp frozen way, it just turns the moisture cold enough to go from precip. to snow. Which then makes everything look like it is covered in a layer of snow but really it's frozen fog.............
