this was the initial post. I am glad that @sethier gave me this challenge.
now keep in mind I can only speak for myself but my earliest childhood memories involve cats. My first pet was a cat named fuzzy...I know how original.
To me cats are more like people then we like to acknowledge. People say they aren't affectionate and don't listen. Cats are temperamental.
This all depends on the way you raise your cats. If you are hands on as soon as possible they learn to show their owners and even other people and animals love.
You can also train cats just like dogs because cats are very smart it just takes a lot of time and determination. I had a cat that would wait for me in my drive when I got home. I'd always open my door he would hope right in and start licking my face just like a dog. I also had a handful of cats who enjoyed playing fetch.
I personally love everything about cats. Their tiny paws cute ears stunning eyes. I just have it in my blood. I connect with cats because they can sense cat people. They sense sadness. Have you ever had a cat stare at you blink twice and keep staring?...that cat just told you they loved you. Sometimes people pet cats and the cat gives them a little nip people mistake that for aggressive behavior but it's not. That nip is what cats do to other cats it's a form of affection. They don't mean to nip hard their skin is thicker then ours.
it's hard being a "cat person" because tons of people will flat out say they hate cats. But you rarely hear people say they hate dogs.
Recently a lady posted a picture of duck tape around her dogs muzzle. And it was reported and the woman was charged with animal abuse. Just like she should have. I'll post a link for anyone who wants to read the article. But I won't post the picture in this blog because the content could be to much for people.
Now there is also a meme floating around with a cat in a blender asking if you would press on for a million. I've reported before and Facebook and IG has no problem with it. Someone had to put that poor cat in the blender with the lid on. This is implied animal abuse and it makes me sick to my stomach that so many people disregard a cats life. All animals life's matter. I won't post the picture but I will post the link.

with that being said I love all animals. This is my roommates dog and I absolutely adore her.
even my cats adore her. It's all about how you raise a animal. Show them love and affection and in return they will return the favor.
