so.. we went to the grocery store today.. and discovered this high tech way to shop.
you go in.. scan your little store card.. check out one of these plastic "guns" that can scan bar codes.. and scan each item as you put it into your cart.. in bags. and it keeps a total.. and the items..
then when you are done.. you just scan your card again.. and pay. everything is already bagged. it was fucking fantastic.
also.. if you have a Rx to drop off.. they scan your card.. and when the Rx is ready.. the little gun thing beeps to let you know you can go pick it up. same with photos. also.. it stores what you buy.. so you get coupons based on things you buy often. i will drive the extra few mins to go to that store now.. because its so much fun.
its also awesome if you are on a budget.. cause you can see a running total.
