Watched this speach: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoEezZD71sc&feature=youtube_gdata_player by Tim Minchin. He has got to be my most favourite person ever.
He talks of life, how it is short, how it is meaningless and how we are all so unbelievably LUCKY to have it. It sounds like a depressing thought, but it is about BEING. Exist! Live! "Fill it"!
I am blogging again cause I would get comments of ridicule on FB for being passionate both about the message and about the way the message is spoken. It is very philisophical, at least as far as I understand the word, lol.
To understand where I'm coming from, u first have to know that I have once heard of a study that shows ppl not only can, but prodominantly DO carry on full (and in my experience, complex) conversations without actually THINKING about what is being said. It is all progamed responses to certain topics learned while growing up.
My experience with philosophy has been to say something that is completely obvious or irrelevant to the non-thinking part, but is of profound and unsettling significance uppon proper contemplation.
And now, since my phone is freakingout at me right now i will endthi kinda weird blog, and hope thatat the very least, anybody who reads it checks out anything by Tim Minchin and give it more thought thanit appears to deserve ;)
