So i'm heading out to california in march to go apartment hunting, and the roommates and I need to find a hotel. anyone know of any inexpensive hotels worth checking out in the LA area? There's really not much to do here in Boston and plus it's too damn cold. I can't wait to be out there!

And what I use is what I find to be best: Got2B Spiking Freeze.
It's a hairspray that's made for spiking.
So backcomb the fuck out of it, Spiking Freeze hairspray, and then blowdry. My hawk lasts for 5 or 6 days, provided I don't get it wet.
It's light, flexible, but stiff.
I likes it.

My friends are performing at Johnny D's in May as part of SommerVaudville. They are actually more of a Can Can troupe than a burlesque troupe as they are all professionals/teachers and didn't think it was a good idea to go topless in public.
I'll be sure and plug the show in my journal when the time comes.
