As I lay here with my pooch, I can’t help but think how lucky us humans are to have dogs. 🐶
My dog’s name is Charlie. She is 2.5 years old. Charlie is half husky, half Shepard. She has 1 brown eye, and one crystal blue eye.
Charlie is more than a dog though. You see, Charlie is who greets me at my door when I return home from work. Charlie is also who lays down beside me at night.
Charlie is my best friend.
Dogs are so special. They feel what we feel. On my down days, Charlie stays close, and forces me to pet her way more often. And on my good days, she knows she can con me into playing.
I think we as humans take dogs and their desire to always love us for granted.
