I need to update this. But I have nothing to say.

I've been back in new orleans for 2 months now. Hoping for something inspirational I might be able to share with anyone. But there's nothing; there's nothing to do here, hardly anything is open, the places that are open all close early now, every day just blends into the next and produces a feeling of stagnation; like you're decaying, just like the city is around you.

They say they're rebuilding; sure. 2 months back and it still looks like an atomic bomb went off every other block. I even hear we're supposed to have free city-wide wifi now.. Well, I've been all over town, and I have yet to pick up a signal. There are some good people in town, but the motivation to hang out with anyone is usually suppressed within my ever-expanding wave of apathy.

I feel like I haven't felt a genuine emotion since the hurricane struck; Scratch that. a genuine positive emotion. I crave every day for something life-affirming, some explanation as to why this is all worth it; But like I've been telling my whiney, depressed friends since childhood, SUCK IT UP, BITCH!
