Today I cried reading the reviews for Bob Dylan at ACL. I'm just hoping that wasn't my last chance.
I cried at the thought of never seeing this man in person.
I cried at the thought of never hearing this man in person.
I cried at the thought of missing my chance.
I cried at the thought of never having that story to tell.
I cried at the thought of of people there listening to him, with no clue about who he is and everything he stands for.

A lot of his songs didn't take shape into their 'traditional' sound till quite far through each song... so there was a lot of confusion and chin-scratching from the crowd.
and as you say - I'm sure quite a few of them didn't have a clue about the history and depth of catalogue of the man himself.... they we're probably just waiting for Tambourine Man to be played... which didn't happen!
His backing band are awesome at the moment tho!
you'll have time to catch him again! --- he'll be back.
