I just read a phrase I seriously can't stand.
"She's sexy for a (fill in the blank) girl."
This particular case was about a lesbian so "for a gay girl". Every time I see that I want to scream. The implication that gay girls aren't sexy is so ignorant. Along with the asinine statement of being told that I'm 'sexy for a black girl' like black women aren't sexy and anyone else that phrases like that are spoken to. What the hell is wrong with people? You don't even have to say she's sexy. Why can't she be beautiful or gorgeous or stunning? And no, not "she's beautiful for a gay girl" or she's beautiful for anything. She is just beautiful. Simply. Beautiful.
I am not beautiful for a black girl. I'm not smart for a girl. I'm not a whore for a being a bisexual young mother. I've had all these things said to me and it's awful.
I am a beautiful, intelligent, young mother that like to be with men and women and no, not as a threesome.
