This is a pencil sketch I made couple of years ago. I finally got it up on the wall so I thought I'd share.
I like it because of the surrealistic feeling and the fairy tale mood. Can you see that it's the moon that's stuck on a branch?

Yesterday I was biking home around midnight (wearing my helmet, by the way) and suddenly the sky turned all purple and lovely.
It started to rain one of those wonderful, soft summerrains and lightning struck like delicate seems in the velvet clouds. It was actually very comforting.
