I got so nostalgic for the woods I grew up in today.
When spring came back then I used to run out to my favourite place (a little colony of stones, covered in soft, green moss). On my way I would jump over ferns and fallen trees, maybe take of my shoes and splash around in one of the murmuring streams breaking away from the winters ice.
When I got there I would climb the biggest stone, look out over my very own fairytale land and scream, very much like Ronja does on Ronja Rvardotter.
Being in that environment I guess it was natural for me to sing songs that people living close to nature had sung before me. To go around and humm pop-songs would have felt almost like blasphemy in that forest I think.
I came to think of this song today, an old swedish folk song I guess. My parens used to sing it, and I guess their parents sang it to them:
In other news, I think I might have found a new obscession in the wii sports boxing game. I started playing yesterday, just to check it out and had to stop when sweat was literally dripping down my forehead and my arms ached when I lifted them! I could probably never work out that hard at a first go if it wasnt a game element involved. And ofcourse, imagining the faces of a few people that I wish I shouldve long forgotten on those little wii mes is helping me go on and on and on....
Have the best possible day!
PS May day is coming up. It used to be one the most important days of the year to me, but the last three years or so I didnt even go out demonstarting. Have you got any plans?

So, on your recommendation, I d/l'd and started watching Battlestar. I like it OK, but I find it a bit melodramatic? I have only seen the first season so far, and will watch the second. Does it improve? I like Boomer/Eight and Six very much, not so keen on Apollo and Adama.

Huh! I guess it was Enterprise, which I had already seen. I thought you had talked about Battlestar too. Well, in any case: It's OK.
