Today I have painted the bottom of my wardrobe reddish.
I have also mixed a really nice pink colour and began painting a canvas with it.
Also, also I painted a monkey on a t-shirt.
I had soyghurt for breakfast and I plan on having lunch soo, while watching reruns of Dawsons Creek.
I was gonna say its sunny and real nice here, but then I looked out the window and realized it has started to snow. Wha, the weather changes really quickly around here now.
This is Locksley looking really intensly into the camera:
I see the Nobel prize in litterature as a sort of book recommendation/review, so I read "The Grass Is Singing" by Doris Lessing last week. It was so well written! The language is beautiful, the story tragic and the setting and the society it describes are horrifying.
It was quite a special book. Didnt make me cry, more like it just made me hurt a lot deep inside.
The people in the book are behaving so badly towards one another and themselves, yet you cant really blame anyone in particular, which just made me feel emphatic for them all.
Isnt that weird about empathy...its like a bridge between contempt and pity. Between disgust and some sort of forgiving understanding. Its good ofcourse, but sometimes it just holds you down to do nothing.
