Wow, a whole week before I put up a new post. Huh. Last week was average, nothing great, nothing terrible.
The weekend however was terrific!!! No, it wasn't any one spectacular occurrence, it was a lot of little things. We went to my brother's house for the weekend, he lives across the road from the beach and from our bedroom french doors you can look down the alley and see the ocean. We watched him surf, we ate out (delicious food), we caught a local ametuer surf competition (that had the cutest little girl), saw a movie, relaxed, swam w/ the dogs in the pool, played in the ocean, watched a storm roll in, enjoyed family time. All kinds of good. We saw some guys (who turned out to be friends of my brother's) kite surfing. Think a huge (almost parachute sized) stunt kite strapped to your top half and a surf board strapped to your feet. I was amazed by how fast they were going and how long they would stay in the air! And that cute little surfer girl...she just couldn't catch a good wave and she was pissed about it when the competition was over but she gave it everything she had. I kept thinking, that's how mine will be, trying to out do the boys. Then Joel (brother) says, "so you gonna let me teach yours to surf so she can kick the little boys' butts?" Of course my reply was an enthusiastic yes. But I figure that since we live so much closer to lakes than the ocean she'll probably learn to ski first. Oh and we got all kinds of free FMF stuff!
Wanna see my brother & sis-in-law (the one I love, not preggo-bitch)? Go here. and scroll down, next to the last...Joel & MaryAnn Thornberry (w/ the young dog Breck). Below them is our cousin Kyle, he's a stunt bike guy.
I think that's about all for now.

aww I feel the love all the way back down in Hollywood! Yes I think I have read somewhere your belly grows when you become infected with a little human! lol... Sounds like you had a pretty cool weekend, kite surfing looks so fricken cool but I am not sure if I will ever get around to it. I guess I'm just not that excited about it.
