Lots and lots to tell.
First... in hubby news. He's decided to leave his job. He is actively looking and this time he's leaving (or looking to leave) his field all together. No more heavy equipment. He has some good looking options but I refuse to jinx him. I think the change will be good for us. He's so unhappy when he comes home at night because his boss is so rude and disrespectful. It will be nice for him to work for someone else. And it will be nice for him to make the money he's worth. But for now he'll stay where he is until the something new is certain, he won't go unemployed w/ the baby on the way.
Next...Saturday races, Rob couldn't get home in time so he didn't race. For this I'm extremely thankful. So now we don't have to spend the enitre off season fixing the car. Just a few minor things to tweak.
Work...the drama queen is back! And she hasn't lost her charm. She's still being just as snappy and sulky as she was before her week vacation. I'm over it! One more comment and I'm gonna let her have it. If you don't want people to complain about you to the boss then maybe you should do your damn job!
SG...I'm here for my friends, I rarely look at sets anymore. For some reason yesterday I looked at a few. I've never been so disturbed and disgusted. This one set actually made me . Not pleasant. I understand rape fantasy and I don't care who is into it. But she looked entirely too young. And if she had portrayed it more realistically and not tried to make rape a beautiful thing it might not have bothered me so much. Top all of this off with the fact that I'm hormonal and kept thinking about the baby girl I'll be bringing into the world and I just had to turn SG off for a while. In looking through my friend's blogs today I'm not the only one who feels this way, I just hope we don't all get zotted for saying so. I understand freedom of expression but couldn't you have put a warning on that? It hurt a lot of people damn it! If you have a positive view of this set please let me know now so I can take you off my friends list. I don't need that type of shit in my life.
Halloween Horror Nights @ Universal Studios...WAS FAN-FUCKING-TASTIC!!!!! That said, none of us got off work on time so we weren't there when the gates opened. We got there about an hour into it and instead of going to the first house we came to, we started at the far end (we're smart like that). The houses in the order we did them: The Thing, a few good scares, nothing really special. The clown house ~ in clown-o-vision (I don't remember the actual name of the house) - first let me say that in this house you wore funky glasses, not quite 3-D but similar, next I need to say that Brian (our friend who went with us) has a really creepy laugh. As we're walking through the house he does his creepy laugh like *right* behind me to where I feel his breath on my shoulder/neck I spin around because all I can think is "they shouldn't be that close to me!" (meaning the cast members) well, right then the scariest clown I've EVER seen jumps out at me, I scream like a girl and dance around in circles because now I'm disoriented . Then we go around the corner and the same clown jumps out at me again! This was one of my favorite houses! Next was Camp Blood based on Friday the 13th, good house but not very scary ~ to me. Next was Psychoscarapy, set to a Christmas theme, LAME! Then came the Texas Chainsaw Massacre/ Leatherface house, I was very proud of myself since I kinda black out and freeze up w/ chainsaw stuff. I made it all the way through the house and only yelped once! I breathed a sigh of relief when we got outside because I thought we were done (it didn't occur to me that there hadn't been any chainsaws) then we were walking through an area of clothes lines w/ sheets hanging on them and strobe lights when the chainsawS start up, more than one and they're IN FRONT of us! I have to go past them to get out! I don't remember anything else, appearantly I latched on to hubby around the waist, burried my head under his arm and started screaming, he says I pushed him for part and he dragged me for part but I wouldn't let go or stop screaming. For me...that was a good house! Then it was Blood Bath the vampire night club almost orgy house, I could have just hung out in that one all night but it didn't scare me. Just fun. Then was the Nightmare on Elm St./ Freddy house it was great, mirrors everywhere so you didn't know what was real and what was reflected, it had a very sleep walking feel. Loved it! We didn't get to the last house because they were closing the park. Highlights...the boys decided to stop for drinks and snacks on the street where the chainsaw guys are (I about lost my mind). As we're leaving that street I'm looking to the left talking to Brian and a saw guy coming off break fires up to my right and makes me scream and run. After the Leatherface house you come back out onto that same street so I had to walk through the chainsaw guys again. The boys had as much fun laughing at me and the other people as they did getting scared themselves. No sitting from 7:30 pm to 3 am, my ankles swelled so bad they bruised . As we're headed into the 3rd or 4th house I see a sign and at the top it says "no expectant mothers" so I tell the guys "I can't do this one" after discussion involving the fact that my dr. gave me permission we realize that they all say that! So I went anyways, while in line we were thinking back to the houses we had already done and realized at the last one the guy at the door kept shining his flashlight on my belly. Oops!
I guess that's all for now. Hope you all have a great week!

I wish there was something like that here. Sounds like soooo much fun. I'd probably have to buy some depends just in case. But I'd love every second of it!
I'm glad you had a good time and make sure to keep your feet up for the next few evenings, because once you have a swelling up like that, it can come back really easily and it's not comfortable, so be careful.
As for the work stuff, tell her to either do her job (and the right way) or get out! .
xoxo
