I had the best day yesterday! Hardly any nausea and work was awesome, one of those re-affirming "that's why I'm here, why I do what I do" kind of days.
First we had a rescue group (that I adore) come take 32 dogs. This may not seem like a big deal but these were all my furry friends and most of them would not have gotten adopted. So there were many tears of happiness.
Then we had a lady bring in a dog she found...no big deal, we get those all day long. But she was in tears because she was in love w/ this dog. She knew somebody had to be looking for it but was afraid they wouldn't find it and it would get put to sleep. We assured her that as cute and sweet as the dog was it would get adopted long before anything bad happened to it. A very short time later a whole family came in looking for Grandma's dog, when I brought her up they all burst into tears, they were sure she'd been hit by a car or something horrible, but here she was safe and sound. We told them about the lady that brought her in and they ran into her in the parking lot (not literally) and after many thank you's, God bless you's, and hugs they went their separate ways.
But the icing on the cake was Hunter. Hunter was w/ us for just over a month. He was taken from his owner because they weren't caring for him. During his time w/ us he gained over 50 lbs and a ton of personality. We won custody of him (in court) on Wed. and yesterday he went to a rescue where he already has a family waiting for him. They are rich and nice and will spoil him! And they have 2 other labs so now that he feels good enough to play, he'll have doggy friends to do it with! We have before and after pics and once I get them onto my computer I'll put them up here.
Now lets hope the weekend is half as good. We have a big race Sat. night, the boys have bought a lot of new stuff for the car and have been working on it non-stop. Lets hope it pays off (literally).

I'm also glad you had a less nauseous day too. That's the best part!
Good luck at the races this weekend.
