Hey, I can drive. This would be a lot cooler if I were sixteen.
Now that I can drive, I'm looking for a new job. <work rant>My current employer insists on keeping us understaffed, not paying a living wage, and offering a group health plan while not paying a cent of the premium. The office supervisor-type hates training people so she takes on every project herself, then works half a day and leaves most of the work untouched. This means a good bit of "her" work gets passed on to me. Awesome.
I work in the book industry, so the busy season (start of college) is coming up. Last busy season, we had 3 full-time employees and 2 part-time employees in the office, plus a shipping person. Right now we have 2 full-timers (myself and the aforementioned supervisor-type, who shouldn't count), 1 part-timer, and nobody in shipping. This means I frequently get to ship all the books. That is not my fucking job.
The owner of the company is so cheap that he neglected to pay the rent on our section of the basement, so we had to move all the way to the back where there's no elevator access, and now we get to drag carts of books up and down stairs (the carts aren't fucking meant for stairs) and take them outside to get them upstairs. Books shouldn't have to go outside.
...and finally: I work with an "Are we having fun yet?" person.</work rant>
Radia7ion and I are going to a wedding in August, and I've had such a hard time buying a dress. Nothing fits me unless it's made for teenagers (in which case it looks like it's made for teenagers- not good). Also, trapeze dresses and bubble hems are teh sux0r, and they're everywhere. If I wanted to look like I was wearing a bag, I'd save my money and wear a bag, wouldn't I?
Blah.

Have I known you (if you could call it that) for 4 years? That's incredible. BTW, Happy Belated Birthday.
